Contains lists of officers and members, meeting minutes, recognition luncheon brochure, news items, etc. The materials may have been donated by Mrs. Ruth Montgomery.
The files were transferred to Falk Library in 2009 from the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for the Health Sciences. It is believed they were from Mrs. Ruth Montgomery. Included are letters regarding disbursement of Association funds, meeting minutes, volunteer recognition events, etc.
Philip Shea donated a small group of newspaper clippings and related materials documenting the work of his mother, Helen F. (Nell Brink) Shea as a nurse at the Base Hospital 27, Angers, France, along with numerous other nurses from the Pittsburgh area. Included is her obituary.
